Desie revolves around the happenings in a small village but it has a universal milieu. The clear message is that people should be wary of politicians who are hell bent on using any issue to servetheir own interests. It is also a warning bell to the people who dont react strongly to even the most provocative incidents that happen around them.
Desie means the folk values which have passed on to us through the generations.
