SYNOPSIS : Prathimaa, a young girl, is living with her mother, brother and grandfather. Grandfather is a traditional Sculptor, and he wants Prakash to learn this art / craft by working with him. But Prakash’s mother is against this hard struggle with stones for her son. She wants Prakash to go thro’ formal education and become a big officer. Prakash does not show any interest in either of them.
Prathimaa has a natural flair for this art / craft, and is very keen to be trained as a Sculptor. But the age-old custom that girls should not be trained in this art / craft comes in the way. That does not deter her. She starts honing her natural skill by keenly observing the grandfather at work, and assimilating as much as she can…. Grandfather passes away….. Years pass… Her burning desire, dedication, hard work, and full support of her husband propel her to rise against all odds to become a Sculptor of international recognition.
